Conclusions

The images produced in this experiment were much more like the actual shroud images. The unusual lengthening of the right arm had been reproduced on the front image and the complete print of the rear of the body, including the sole of the foot had also been reproduced.

This experiment showed very clearly that by placing the body on a soft mattress all the unusual features of the original shroud image can be reproduced. This result fits well with the scenario introduced in the Hiram Key and expanded in the Second Messiah which led us to conclude that the man of the shroud was not dead and was not intended to die. He had been placed on a soft bed with his head and shoulders raised to assist his breathing when he had been taken down after being tortured.
